He has been on a few sailboats before, but never out sailing. This lanky spelunker is in charge of the mainsail and is always willing to go up the mast to fix whatever needs fixing. Vlad, a true Russian, has a shot (or three) of Bailey's in his coffee, first thing in the morning. Although he is currently fascinated by the American Lite Beer phenomenon, he wishes there were more Russian water (vodka) on board. Vladimir spends long nights at the office, designing products for High Sierra and has just recently received his black belt in ninjitsu. That makes two black belts on board. Vlad was born in Lvov, in the Ukraine, when the region was part of the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Mr. Kharaz moved to the US in his early twenties and currently holds a USA citizenship. He now lives on the North West side of Chicago.
