Having never been on a sailboat
before, Steffi was the first person to sign up to be a crew member for Shellshock.
Eager to learn about the boat, she is willing to take on any position asked
of her. She has started to take initiative in performing some of the rudimentary
tasks on the boat.
Steffi loves the water, but hates the sun – night racing is thus her
favorite. For the past three years, despite having been directly exposed
to Western culture, she has never had a cheeseburger (key in Jimmy Buffet's
Cheeseburger in Paradise song). The crew of Shellshock quickly resolved that
problem. Next up Egg Foo Young!
Ms. Xiao, works as a consultant for a local packaging design firm. She hopes
that her country's first
entry into the America's
Cup Challenge will be a success. Xiao Sa was born in Changsha,
a town in Hunan Province of China. |
