Another cyclist on the team, Rick
is finally able to put to practice what he learned about sailing a few years
ago in the waters of Boston. With his background, Mr. Nelson's position on
the boat has him playing a dynamic role, from trimmer to bowman and even
helping in the tactics.
When not on the boat, Rick is with family and friends indulging in ethnic
foods and beverages. Mr. Nelson is one of the principals of Booth
Hansen Architects.
Mr. Nelson was born in Cape Girardeau,
a small town in southeast Missouri. Currently, he lives in Old Irving Park
(only three blocks from Vlad), with wife Adriene Booth and their sons Miles
and Leland. |
